More Pirates, More Wartune

I can’t tell the difference between these two games, they might as well be the same game. Same advertising style, same tagline, same company maybe? Anyway, I have no idea what these games are and I have no urge to find out.

They aren’t made by the same company, but they do share a publisher.  I guess the publisher feels this is a winning strategy now.  They’re behind a bunch of web games so I’m wondering if we’re going to be seeing even MORE of these kinds of ads in the near future.

Also, I see they’re continuing to plagiarize their art.  Wartune’s stolen almost all of the art they have in their ads (from other games, published fantasy art, and even from amateur artists), and I see the ads for Pirates: Tides of Fortune aren’t any different.

The pirate woman in the ad is a piece of fantasy art that appeared originally on the cover of Inquest magazine.

I’m always curious how people feel when they click on those ads expecting super sexy times and get stuff like this:

I wonder how far along the tech tree you have to go until you can research “women’s pants.”
