For ALL submissions (including redraws) with commentary, please avoid using sexist, racist, ablist, homophobic, transphobic or classist language. Please avoid using terms like “slut”, “bitch” or “whore” in your commentary, and please don’t refer to a female character being too thin as “anorexic”.
I accept any pop media art that depicts women as being ridiculously sexualized or posed out of context (like sexualized in death or defeat), having incongruous anatomy, or in ridiculous clothing for what they’re doing. Disparities in the way men and women are portrayed, posed or clothed in a video game, comic, etc may also count.
I only accept professional art for normal Escher Girls posts (obviously fan art is acceptable for redraws or parodies), by which I mean art that’s produced as part of the industry. I accept art books, posters, calenders, statuettes, advertising, promotional material, or other things produced for a wide audience. I consider personal commissions by professional artists to be out of this range, and will not publish those).
By submitting something to me you agree to let me host your submission and commentary on this website and on the Escher Girls Tumblr. If there is something in your commentary you want excluded from publication (i.e. for my eyes only) please state that in your submission.
I reserve the right to edit submissions to fix typos or to remove offensive language. If you want your submission to be published only "as is", please let me know. Keep in mind if your submission has offensive language and you don't want me to change it, I may not publish it at all.
