I stumbled across this DOFUS game while wandering around Pinterest. It is described as “the number 1 MMORPG in France.” (Cool?) Anyway, their homepage is decorated with the above drawing. Is she fighting? Dancing? Having some kind of seizure? It begged to be submitted.
To be fair, I suppose the cat-man on the other side of the homepage is weirdly shapely too. His pose is impossible and silly, but I gather that depicting characters fighting as if they were floating in zero-g is something of a style in anime and manga? Not quite the same as the bizarre, twisty T&A pose of the girl.
Why is there a need to make female cartoon characters ‘sexy,’ anyway? Her proportions — The over large head, hands, and feet; the short, thick legs and skinny little arms — are almost childlike. IMO, it really doubles the ick factor of a pose like this. Gross.
I’m trying to figure out what her role is given her costume. Warrior guardian of South Beach?
