So I just saw this recent post http://eschergirls.tumblr.com/post/38105232461/zerujin-submitted-phyla-vell-from  and decided to see how she’d look in 3d. So I sculpted her.

Before you look at the pics, please excuse any glaring anatomy errors, I did this very fast. Second, I’ve nicknamed her “Froggy Princess.” _{(I thought her head look like a frog for some reason.)}

I started with a wire armature and then started with her legs, since they seemed the least confusing. It was.. interesting trying to figure out how to sculpt her torso. When i got to her chest and shoulders I realized that i didn’t take into account that her  chest area was on a different plane. I tried to fix it so it could completely look like the reference pic, but I couldn’t! I’d have to literally break her Armature/bones to make her chest do it, so I relented. This is the best I could do. I hope you get some insight or laughs.

Very creative!  I love that we can see it in 3-D. :)
