A recent Bayonetta submission mentioning snakes with spines made me think of my recent visit to the Cincinnati zoo, where a blue monitor lizard did its best Escher Girls impression for my phone.

I love that it looks as if it’s throwing it’s head back with a hand behind it’s head in a glamour pose too.

Normally, I can immediately think of a picture in my blog that matches an animal pose submitted to me, but right now I can’t think of anything.  If anybody can find me a picture that matches that pose though, that would be awesome. :)

(Also, I should make a tag for the posts I have involving photos of animals.  There have been a surprising amount.)
