Another redraw.
I found the picture here:
This was another picture that I just had to try to fix. I started by tracing the contours of her body so as not to be distracted by the beautiful coloring job and details. After finding her body shapes, I drew in where I thought her skeleton would be. The most obvious issue was with her detached leg. In order for her leg to be in that position her pelvis either needed to be deformed or as I show in my example the neck of her femur would have to be very long. Other issues were her right forearm seemed short and her left seemed too long. Also, her right hand was oddly put together.
I decided to keep her torso position and adjust her legs and arms around it. I did the pose and discovered that my feet were facing the same direction, and my bracing arm was on the same plane as my butt. I overlaid the two so you can seen how I adjusted her anatomy.
For the final image I drew in her costume and some details to show that by improving her pose the image looks looks much better.
Great redraw! And I love the skeletal breakdown! It’s very illuminating. The final image is very pretty. :)
