My friend was talking about feminist
My friend was talking about feminist songs that inspire her, and my mind immediately went to “Imperfect Girl” by Tatu (the Australian band, not the Russian duo). She suggested I share it on this site because the pro body image message is great, and the song makes me happy and helps me feel better about myself. :) Also, because the song keeps getting misattributed to t.A.T.u., and it’s sad because Tatu came first and the internet barely even has any record of them existing, and I want them to get proper credit for an amazing and inspiring song. All of the videos I see on youtube misattribute it, and I worry that soon nobody will know who really sung it at all. Given how this song helped me realize who I am and inspired me in my life (as corny as that sounds, I know :\ ) I want them to get the credit (even if they don’t exist anymore >_>)
So, I hope this isn’t too corny, and if it is you can just ignore it. XD But I thought, why not share a song I love. :)
