Okay, so this is going to be the first of the “pre-draw” or “fill in the bottom” posts! This idea was suggested to me by a-noyd earlier today.
Basically, I provide half of an Escher Girl picture, and anybody who wants to participate will draw the bottom half of what they think follows. It can be serious, or it can be for fun (i.e. a centaur), and then we’ll compare it to the original after a week.I haven’t thought about prizes or deciding a winner or anything, but if people have an idea for those, (or want a winner picked at all), I’m all ears. :) If we choose “winners”, I’d probably have a category for serious and a category for humorous.
First up, is this lovely picture of Vampirella, which has been on this blog before (so you COULD go back and see what the full thing looks like, but what’s the fun in that?) Have at it! :D

Edit: To clarify if we have “winners”, it would be chosen by vote, and not by me.
Just a reminder to people about this “contest” :) I’ve already gotten a few submissions. I think I’ll run this for the entire week, then publish each submission throughout the next week.
Okay, I’ve gotten a lot of submissions for this challenge, and some people who are asking if it’s still too late to submit (it’s not), so this is just a reminder of the challenge for anybody who missed it, and also an update. I think I’m going to start posting submissions starting Sunday, and then every day I’ll post 3 submissions (or more, I haven’t done the math yet of how long it’d take) until they’re done and then I’ll show the original image and people can compare and make decisions. :)
I have really enjoyed what I’ve seen so far, and the submissions have ranged from really nice “serious” ones to hilarious parody ones. You guys are awesome.
