AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Tyrannosaur arms, centaur spine… and I think her right calf and foot are trying to escape the picture (I would too).

I wanted to try a re-draw of one of the drawings from eschergirls. This is my attempt.

I started off by trying to figure out how this woman was put together. You can see where I tried to sketch in her skeleton. Her shoulders were out of whack, her back was arched unnaturally and her bent leg was impossible.

I tried to keep the spirit of the pose and have her leaping. I fixed her broken back. Made her legs more natural. I fixed her arms and tried to keep her proportions more realistic. I must admit after staring at the original I could feel myself distorting the anatomy of my corrected drawing. Overall I am happy with the result.

This is an amazing redraw!  (I know I say something like this every time, but I do mean it every time)  She looks a lot better, and actually the pose is more dynamic because it makes sense.  That looks like somebody leaping and shooting.  Plus, I think she looks both attractive and powerful. :)
