February 2025 Valentine's Caption Contest! Love or War?
So this image from Lady Rawhide vol. 2 #1/2 has been on this blog before (twice actually!) and I mentioned in the past that it would make a great caption contest, but apparently I never actually ran one, so for February and Valentine's Day, let's do it!
It's perfect because even the original text was like very deliberately meant to evoke sex (though they're not actually gay in the comic, it's just meant to titillate, they are supposed to be fighting here and they don't do anything more than grapple and then fight some bad guys unfortunately), but what's weird is they're described as grinding their pelvic bones against each other, yet they are very much keeping their pelvises as far from each other as they can. Like, the narration in the original is very "yes gay" but the actual picture has like a case of the "not gays" so it's very odd.
Anyway, it's up to YOU now to decide what they're doing, what they're thinking, what they're saying, etc... caption this image! Your caption doesn't have to fit the narration boxes, it can be dialogue or just a single line caption or a song or whatever you want! Be creative! Be funny! Be romantic if you want (it is February!)
Best/funniest/most creative captions win! There will be Steam codes as prizes for the winners, but you also don't need to play for a prize, you can just play for fun.
