Thicc Thigh Gaps Save Lives?

I have a friend who often criticizes the trend in illustration to show every woman with a thigh gap no matter the pose or what size they are.  It's not at all impossible to have thick thighs and a thigh gap when crossing your legs since human bodies are pretty diverse, but this feels like another situation where 2 different beauty features (”thicc”, and thin legs with thigh gap) are crossed together in illustration even though most of the times they'd be relatively exclusive.  It’s not necessarily “wrong” but X-23 looks pretty muscular, it should be fine to show her thighs touching, esp when a lot of girls are obsessing about the need to have a thigh gap even when their legs cross because they’re told it’s abnormal otherwise.
