From issue #43 of Aquaman’s nu52 ongoing, art by Trevor McCarthy. Um…oh dear, apparently being underwater allows your body to contort in improbable ways, as Mera is demonstrating over there on the left. She looks more like a snake that either swallowed a rock than a female character being objectified for submissive sex appeal.

Also looks like Mera and her twin sister Hila have non-existent organs with those waists, and Hila surely can’t be too comfortable in those bulky armored boots going all the way up to her butt.
