Pirate Plagiarism

I was minding my own business, surfing the Replica Props Forum, and—

Seriously? Banned?

Also the double entendre tagline seems to imply an abyssal, or at least man-deep, vagina…

Every time I think the publisher of Pirates: Tides of Fortune and Wartune have reached the cap of hilarious misleading “forbidden fruit for men” advertising, they find something new that makes me laugh.

I feel I need to point out that the art they’re using is BLATANTLY ripped off the cover of ‘Pirates!’ a d20 tabletop role-playing supplement.  They didn’t even have the decency to open the book and find something a bit less obvious.

Their plagiarism had been pointed out in a previous post that noted this art was also featured in Inquest magazine, but I didn’t know it was also from an RPG supplement.  Given that most of the art of Wartune ads have been found out as stolen from other sources, I suspect the same is true for Pirates ads.
