leadchariot: Okay, this is my first

Okay, this is my first redraw, and I figured for my first redraw I’d do an easy one.

We all know what’s wrong with spider-lady’s spine, so I’m not going to bother redrawing that, someone with a better grip on anatomy can tackle it. What annoyed/bothered me was the fact that the artists decided to sacrifice practicality for “teh sexy”. Fighting facing each other is stupid. Plain and simple. I get that spider-lady ((I don’t know her name)) is pulling a B&B to look over her shoulder at the enemy, but they should be back-to-back. And I’m here to point out that you can have “teh sexy” while at least making it practical.

1: Blank, untouched image.
2: Red/Blue lined so you can see what I would have changed. I flipped blue-shirt so that she was **facing** the person she was talking to, and switched their placement so they were back-to-back. HEY. LOOKIT THAT. You still get your tits and ass. Also, I resized spider-lady so that she appeared more in the background. I don’t know how big she’s supposed to be, but regardless, if she was in the background she’d be smaller.
3: My attempt at maybe kind-of-sort-of fixing the image while keeping it looking like the original art. Unfortunately I couldn’t resize spider-lady, so she looks like a tan, arachnid She-Hulk. Also unfortunately, I couldn’t just simply flip blue-shirt’s entire body, so I had to suffice with just turning her head. I think it actually looks a little more comfortable and balanced like that, anyway.

See, at least that looks way more sensible for them to be back to back. :)
