hyruleculture: I did a hand redraw for

I did a hand redraw for this one. sorry for the graininess of the redraw, my scanner is broken so I had to use my iPod to take a picture of it.

The major problem I had with the standing girl was that leg with the pointing toe. If she wasn’t pointing her toe, she would have a believable weight balance spread between both legs. But with the toe, her weight has to all be on the back leg and for that it has to be straight. Also, the pointed leg has a clearly locked knee and I don’t know if you’ve ever tried pointing your toe with your weight on the other leg then locking that knee, but it hurts. And it’s hard to hold position. Your leg starts to shake from the strain of it. It’s simply not a natural toe point. The most comfortable is a slightly bent knee to make it look like the leg is curved and then bowing the leg outward.

I also added muscle to her flexed arm because it should have had a muscle bulge.

But now all the magic is gone!  *sniff*
