Decided to spend just a few minutes on a redraw from the Gambit and Rogue post.

I sadly didn’t realize how ridiculous these poses were until I stumbled on this blog. I knew they weren’t ever right, but gosh darn it they make absolutely no sense when you study them.

Just for fun, I included a real down and dirty sketch of Gambit doing a pose that’s every bit as nonsensical as Rogue’s in the original. This blog has definitely taught me that if it looks silly on a guy, it looks equally silly on a girl.

I got a lot of redraws for this cover, so I think today I’ll just post them all and people can see everybody’s take on re-drawing this. What I find interesting is that not everybody interpreted this cover the same way, some people decided that her upper body was what should start the pose, and changed the butt, while others did the opposite.

It feels like one of those Food Network competition shows where people have to make a meal out of the same ingredients, but each meal is different. Maybe I should start an Iron Redraw competition.

Anyway, I liked this redraw and how you decided to keep the lower half the same, but changed the pose for the to. I think having her left hand holding Remy’s face instead of her right made it seem very intimate and romantic.

The 2nd redraw was cute too. :3
