Escher Girls' Valentine's Day card contest!
I just had an idea for an Escher Girls’ Valentine’s contest! Basically, the challenge is to make a Valentine’s Day card from an Escher Girls picture! Take a picture from the archive, and edit it with a Valentine’s Day Card type phrase to go with it that fits the theme of the picture.
I’ll post all of the submissions and then pick my favourites & I’ll draw one to be the winner.
If anybody wants to contribute a prize (such as a free commission) to the contest, that’d be great, and please let me know. :)
Entries can be submitted to me by email or tumblr submission. I won’t post ones with text that is offensive, so keep your jokes within the commenting guidelines (the guidelines are on the sidebar) please.
I wish I came up with this idea a week ago so the contest could end on Valentine’s but I guess instead it’ll start on Valentine’s Day and end on the 21st. :3
Okay, one final update to the contest (which ends at the end of Friday). There will actually be 3 winners chosen and 3 prizes given out to each. :) The prizes will be given at random.
Einar’Fox (NSFW) is offering a commission, 1-2 characters, bust style character portrait, full shading/color, which can be printed in 8x10 format (but they’re open to other dimensions as well). The commission can be either SFW or NSFW.
Marie Friedrich is offering a commission, 1 character, half body watercolor, character in abstract background.
And Ozziescribbler is offering a chibi commission, 1 character, full body.
So the stakes are more interesting now. :) ALSO, for the next contest (which I’ve already planned the theme of, it’ll involve drawing), Wincenworks is going to put up a free copy of Gone Home on Steam to the winner.
