The top picture is from the recent Future Imperfect comic drawn by Greg Land, and the bottom is a famous picture of Psylocke that’s been on this blog before (also by Land).

Res ipsa loquitur.

(The similarities were pointed out by a friend, he wrote a post going into more detail about Land’s art in Future Imperfect specifically in its depiction of women, and other similar poses that crop up.  Some of these might show up on Escher Girls later too.)
