My best attempt at a redline for this post. Redlines are not my forte- at least, not redlines on anime-style cartoons. My biggest two issues were that while her head COULD be angled like that, it would have to be far further back, and her neck would do the “squishy turtle” thing that necks are apt to do- the second issue was how few organs she seemed to have.

I did my best to fill her out some, though I had to accommodate for the fact that she’s a fish person as well. Also tried fixing the angle of her neck and her boobs. I left out even trying the clothing, because I can think of no reason for a mermaid to have either nipples or a maid outfit.

This is a cool re-imagining of the cover, and of mermaids in general.  I like the creativity of making her more fishy. :)
