Dunno if you’d want to put this image under the cut, but something that reminded me of this post a from while back.
I was watching a playthrough of Mortal Kombat 9, and in this particular scene a woman is being resurrected from the dead. There was a short moment where they showed her muscle tissue reforming over her bones, and surprise surprise MUSCLE BOOBS!
If people find more #muscleboobs, you should really turn it into a tag!
I think part of what’s going on is that artists like Christopher Hart or the people who did that resurrection scene for Mortal Kombat have never run into a human anatomy picture with breast tissue (part of this might be that a lot of “default” human anatomy pictures tend to be of cis men), and never bothered to look into what breasts look like under the skin and just assumed that they must be protruding muscles. It might also explain why so many artists think breasts can defy gravity and don’t need support.
